SVNS World Championship Valladolid
sport events | signage & way-finding
-
In collaboration with Julieta Agero, we created the branding, signage, and way-finding for the SVNS World Championship in Valladolid.
Working on the World SVNS Series means designing for one of the most high-profile events in international rugby — a global stage where the world’s top teams compete in the sport’s fastest and most dynamic format.
My role focuses on event branding, signage, and wayfinding, adapting the official SVNS visual identity to the physical venue in order to create a cohesive, functional, and immersive on-site experience.
Beyond the matches themselves, the event blends sport, music, entertainment, and culture into a large-scale spectacle, where design plays a key role in shaping how thousands of attendees experience and navigate the space.

Fan Zone
Upon entry, guests are received at the Fan Zone. A space with food trucks, main stage for concerts and entertainment, games, and more. With a capacity of 10,000 people, the Fan Zone was a place for guests to relax in between games, have fun and enjoy being at the SVNS World Championship
The Stadium
The stadium was the focus of the event where all the action took place. With over 500 pieces of branding and signage, it was one of the most important because it was televised around the world representing the organization team.
Players Tunnel
The Players Tunnel was a space of utmost importance because this is where players come in and out of the field, where the trophies and awards are prepared and presented, and an important camera shot for media.
VIP Areas
VIP Guests had access to exclusive areas, both outdoor and indoor. Branding, signage and layout design was created and coordinated upon installation.
Indoor VIP Areas were available to guests as a place to grab a bite, have a drink and hang out between games. Located inside the stadium, VIP areas created a great space for networking.
Award Ceremony
The areas with the greatest visibility for the event artwork were the track and field, the media center inside the stadium, and the general event branding and wayfinding throughout the stadium where the sports competitions took place.
